Mrs. Priya Anand hailed from Tanjore, Tamil Nadu. She is the founder and primary instructor of Aarabhi Music school in Redmond. She has been teaching music for the past 10 years. She has an undergraduate degree in Physics and Master’s in Music from Tanjore Tamil University. She started her initial training under Mrs.Ramya Sreekanth and further enhanced the training with Dr. Ashok kumara of Sadhana school of Arts in Redmond. She has completed the certificate program at Sadhana school of Arts. She gave her Debut concert in Chennai, Nrityakala Mandir Sabha. She presented a research paper for the International music seminar, on the topic “ ‘Musicians of the 19th Century’. She also did her thesis on the topic ‘Is Music a performing or spiritual art?’ Priya is very passionate about teaching and is been training Kids/ adults for the university level exams in Music. She has done extensive practice of Nada kriya yoga under the guidance of Dr. Ashok kumara. Other interests include astrology and occult science.  She was invited to be one of the judges for the cultural competetion held during Miss International America 2023 and  had the opportunity to judge International women's day cultural programs.

Exploration of other art forms: Priya has learnt Bharathanatyam for 3 years under the guidance of Mrs. Lalitagauri Agashe. She had the opportunity to learn few hindustani ragas under Mrs.Kumudh Nagarkar.
